So you’d like a website? Here’s an easy and self-guided way to start organizing your thoughts. I have all my clients walk through this step, so that I can get as much of your information at one time. If you don’t have answers for all the questions yet, don’t worry. Just do your best to fill it out and we’ll work out the rest together.

1. General Information

2. Website Purpose

What is the "call to action" of your website? What do you want it to do?

Ex. collect emails, sell a product, call a phone number, make a donation.

3. Aesthetics

What kind of websites convey the visual theme you are looking for?

Please send up to 4 URL's (web addresses) and specify what exactly you like about the site, such as layout, colors, placement of elements, gradients, etc.

5. Content

How many pages of content will there be?

Think of all the main pages and subpages you want to include.


How much content per pages (in words per page and/or number of images)?

For example, you might have about 500 words per page and want to include 2 small images per page. Pages with a little content versus a lot help determine the overall cost.


Will there be specific formatting you require on content pages, like tables, special headings and so on?
For example, you might have a company bio page with 10 employees, and would like it formatted in a nice looking table.


Would you like a customized home page? If yes, what should it look like and do?

You might like a home page that looks different than the rest of your site. If so, please describe what it should look like or do.

If you are building a shopping cart, please answer these questions.

How many products will you be selling?



How many variations per product will you require?

For example, you might sell T-shirts that are small, medium and large, and come in red, black and green. Those count for 2 variations.


How many images per product will you have?

Tell us how many images of each product you'll have.
